Howdy Neighbor!
It's been a heck of a weird year. Having served as an airborne combat medic, nurse, and scientist, I focus on the facts, not the politics, of the pandemic. I implore you to please wash your hands, social distance, and wear a mask any time social distancing might be difficult.

Another major topic in all of our neighborhoods is racial equality. Most of us, me included, can do better. Here are some ideas of how we can help ensure all of our fellow citizens enjoy the American Dream:
- Strive for a more diverse and inclusive circle of friends
- Donate money to a racial justice group like the Equal Justice Initiative
- Donate time locally, e.g., Big Brothers and Sisters

The budget front: Unfortunately, we had an emergency expense that has forced us to dip deep into our tiny reserve. Our decades-old sprinkler controller gave up the ghost and some of our irrigation lines needed repair. If you have not chipped in this year, please consider doing so; if you are unsure as to how much, we suggest $120. As always, the choice is yours, can you help out?
