 Creekbend Estates Neighborhood Association News

Howdy Neighbor!

If you're like us, you are enjoying this cooler weather. It made for an especially pleasant Plano International Festival this past weekend.

Here in Creekbend Estates, the big news was a potential issue in our irrigation system, which was resolved with little expense. That said, we do have our regular bills to pay and we are about to hit our emergency reserve, so if you have not given this year and can help us out, it would be appreciated.

  • Michael J Casavant, CENA President

Easily optimizing your irrigation: As we get into cooler weather that requires less irrigation, we're reminding folks about the "Water My Yard" website (watermyyard.org). Just tell it your info and what sort of notices you want. They assess rainfall and let you know how much to water. Then switch your system to manual and run as needed (ideally, finish before 10 AM or start after 6 PM).

The budget front: As mentioned in the intro, we will have to start tapping into our emergency reserve within the month. Mostly, we just haven't had many folks chip in this year, but the bills to maintain our common areas keep coming just the same. Our money only goes to maintaining our common areas.

If you haven't donated yet this year, please consider doing so; we suggest $120/year. Not sure if you gave? Check the donor roll on our site: creekbendestatesplano.blogspot.com.

As always, the choice is yours, can you help out?

Thank you for your kind consideration and being a good neighbor.
