Howdy Neighbor!

As the year draws to a close and we enjoy a few days of unseasonably warm weather to knock out some outdoor chores or take a stroll in the park, I'd like to thank you for being good neighbors.

It's an understatement to say it's been a year with a lot of stress and turmoil. A year in which many folks have struggled to find the better angels of their nature. We have weathered it in stride, taken care of some random emergencies with our entryways, and remained neighborly along the way.

It's also been a year of learning. This year has peeled back the veneer on so many truths we did not fully understand. We have learned a lot about our leaders, our country, and ourselves.

The best thing we can do is take those lessons and strive to make things better going forward and find new strength in that pursuit. In the words of the great English philosophers Chumbawamba, "I get knocked down, but I get up again. You are never gonna keep me down."

Let's show 2020 to the door and get ready to welcome in a better new year!

  • Michael J Casavant, CENA President

The budget front: It wouldn't be 2020 without yet another emergency with our entryways that severely damaged our drip irrigation. Our vigilant Entryways Chair, Scott Sweeney took care of it, but we did incur some costs If you have not chipped in this year, please consider doing so; if you are unsure as to how much, we suggest $120. As always, the choice is yours, can you help out?

Thank you for your kind consideration and being a good neighbor.
