The City of Plano has notified us that the North Texas Municipal Water District will be treating our water. It will involve adding straight chlorine to the water supply for a period of 28 days. This helps keep the water clean and reduce the amount of flushing cities need to do. On that note, the city will be flushing water periodically as well.
The treatment started at 8:00 AM, Monday, March 13th, so it should be finished by Tuesday, April 11th.
What does it mean to you? There may be a chlorine taste to the water. It’s not dangerous, but it might be unpalatable to some. Common filtration systems usually do a good job off eliminating this.

The fire: On Wednesday, December 28th, a fast-moving fire swept through Republic Services recycling center in Plano, leaving the city without the ability to handle and process our recyclables (so they would have to go to the landfill). However, we have some good news on that:
Today we honor our veterans for their service. And what better way to celebrate than giving back to them! So, here are some deals and freebies for our veterans.
Hi there. After the recent hail events, I was thinking about installing a carport. I know Plano has some guidelines we must follow. Are there additional Creekbend Estates rules regarding carports? Thanks, Jeff
