Specialized Help Needed: Diagnosing our Entryway Irrigation Leak

Neighbors,

Our neighborhood entryways are struggling, and we need to fix the root cause before we can invest in replacing the dead plants.

The Problem: We have a leak somewhere in the half-mile drip irrigation line (buried 6-8" underground) servicing our entryways. We cannot run the water or plant anything new until it is found and repaired.

The Financial Reality: As a purely voluntary association, CENA maintains a $1,500 emergency reserve. Hiring a professional contractor just to find the leak across a half-mile stretch will consume a large chunk of that reserve before a single pipe is even patched.

The Ask: Before we hire a commercial contractor, we want to tap into the expertise right here in Creekbend Estates. We are looking for a highly specific, one-time volunteer effort.

If you are a professional landscaper, plumber, or irrigation specialist, or if you have access to line tracing or leak detection equipment, can you help us pinpoint the leak?

If you have the gear or the know-how to help us target the exact repair site, please reply to this post or email us at creekbendestatesplano@gmail.com. You'll be saving the neighborhood hundreds of dollars.

Thank you! - Michael J Casavant & The CENA Board
